Mr. Sameer Malhotra pursued his graduation from the University of Delhi and later joined the Institute of Cost and Work Accounts of India (ICWA). He further completed his post-graduation in Financial Management from Sardar Patel College of Communication and Management. Before establishing Shriram Automall India Limited, Mr. Sameer worked for over 5 years as the Country Manager and Director, Asia Subcontinent, for Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers (RBA). He also has a decade-long experience in heading several divisions of SREI Infrastructure Finance Limited (SREI), India’s largest finance and rental group focused on infrastructure equipment as Sr. Vice President. Sameer’s strong acumen in strategic analysis and focused management has contributed immensely to the business expansion of Shriram Automall India Limited, Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers and SREI Infrastructure Finance Limited.
Vivek Gul Asrani is an Independent Director of our Company. He is a Science Graduate from St. Xavier’s College and has also done LLB. He has over 26+ years of experience in setting up distribution networks, organizational systems, manufacturing systems and overall people and process management. He is currently associated with Kamyo Fastener Company and Kamyo Industries both of which are partnerships.
Steven Greenfield is an Independent Director of our Company. He has more than 25 years of experience in the automotive technology space. He started his career in 1999 selling software to car dealers and has overseen more than $1 billion in automotive technology acquisitions. Mr. Steve served as TrueCar’s Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development, and AutoTrader.com’s Vice President of Product Management and Business Development, overseeing the acquisitions of vAuto, Kelley Blue Book, HomeNet Automotive, VinSolutions, and Dealer Science. Earlier in his career, Steve served as Manheim’s Director of International Development, spearheading Manheim’s overseas investments, including establishing new joint ventures in Dubai, Istanbul and Beijing.
Mr. Umesh Govind Revankar holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Mangalore University and a master of business administration (MBA) in finance. He is Executive Vice Chairman of Shriram Finance Limited (formerly Known as Shriram Transport Finance Company Limited). He attended the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. Mr. Revankar started his career with the Shriram Group as an executive trainee in 1987. He has been associated with the Shriram Group for the last 36 years and has extensive experience in the financial services industry. During his stint with the Shriram Group, he has shouldered various responsibilities and worked in several key roles of business operations.
Mr. Vinay Vinod Sanghi is the Chairman and Managing Director of CarTrade Tech Limited (CTT). He is the Founder of Cartrade and Carwale. He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Bombay. Mr. Vinay is the founder and the driving force of CarTrade Tech since its inception in 2009. He has been instrumental in building the vision of the Company and taking it from a start-up to a leading automotive marketplace. With more than three decades in the ecosystem, Vinay has established a standard of excellence in the auto industry. Previously, he was employed with Mahindra First Choice Wheels Ltd. Currently also serving as an Independent Director of HDFC Ergo General Insurance Company Ltd.
Mr. Akshay Shankar is Chief Product Officer of Cartrade Tech Limited (CTT) Group. He holds a master’s degree in science (with honours) from the University of Twente, Netherlands. He has 15+ years of experience in product management. Akshay Shankar started his career at ABN AMRO Central Enterprise Services Private Limited. He was one of the first directors of Nassau IT Services Private Limited, erstwhile owner of the CarTradeIndia.com portal in 2007. He joined CTT on August 1, 2009, as a product manager and has held technology and product leadership roles since then. Akshay was promoted to the position of Chief Product Officer –CTT Group (CPO) on October 1, 2020.
Varun Sanghi heads CarTrade Ventures. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in Management with a specialization in Finance from the University of Mumbai. Varun has been a part of CarTrade Tech for the past seven years, beginning his journey as a product manager. During his tenure, he led the acquisition of OLX India, incubated CarTrade Infotech and also worked on multiple other projects. Varun has also been featured in Forbes India's 30 Under 30 Class of 2024.
Mr. Sunder Subramanian is a Non - Executive non-Independent Director of our Company. Mr. Sunder holds the position of Joint Managing Director (Non-Board) at Shriram Finance Ltd. (SFL). In his current capacity, Mr. Sunder oversees critical functions vital to the company’s success, including Finance & Accounts, MIS, HR, Compliance, Governance, Planning and Budgeting, Taxation and Corporate Strategy. He regularly interacts with the Regulators, Auditors, Bankers, Investors etc. Mr. Sunder brings over three decades of profound experience and expertise in Finance & Accounts. He began his career with the Shriram Group in December 1991. A qualified Cost Accountant, Mr. Sunder holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from University of Madras. He currently heads the CFO committee of Finance Industry Development Council (FIDC).
Mr. Praveen Kumar Gutti is the Chief Executive Officer of CarTrade Exchange (CTE), a part of the Shriram Automall India Limited (SAMIL) Group. With over 25 years of experience across the pre-owned automobile ecosystem, digital automotive platforms and enterprise business scaling, he leads CTE’s strategic growth roadmap and business transformation initiatives. In his current role, he oversees the Online and Physical Banks and NBFC business, the Insurance vertical, and the BMT (Buyer Marketing Team) division, driving integrated business performance, strengthening partner engagement and expanding CTE’s national footprint. In his current position, he leads business and operational performance across the Chennai, Coimbatore and Madurai regions, while also managing pan-India accounts for clients headquartered in Chennai. Mr. Sandesh Singh Bhadauria is the Zonal Business Head for the Lucknow Zone at Shriram Automall India Limited (SAMIL). A postgraduate in Tourism, he brings over 23 years of experience with the Shriram Group, having begun his career with Shriram Transport Finance Company before moving to Shriram Automall as Regional Head. Over the course of his journey, he has managed diverse geographies, including Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, and Himachal Pradesh, contributing significantly to regional expansion. In his current role, he is responsible for business operations and business development strategies across the Lucknow Zone, covering Bhopal, Indore, and UP/UK. In his current role, he is responsible for driving business development strategies across the Mumbai Zone, covering Gujarat, Mumbai, and Nagpur. Previously, as a Business Head, he played a key role in expanding brands and products into new categories, regions, and verticals, while also establishing successful new ventures, channel partnerships, and strategic alliances. He has over 19 years of work experience working with AMUL (GCMMF), SHARP, ICICI Lombard, AUOonline, CarTrade, Reliance Retail, Copart, TSG and Shriram Automall. Dilip Kote is a mechanical engineer by degree and has over 21 years of diverse industry experience in the automobile industry in sales & marketing, banking, and online auctions. He has over 11 years of Group Experience. He has deep understanding of team building and providing services to clients and buyers. He is proficient in using consultative selling strategies to build relationships in target markets. Currently, he is the Business Head of Online Operations. Also, he is managing Insurance Salvage & Buyer Marketing for Banks, NBFCs & Insurance companies along with a team of 100+ members for online auctions. His achievements include - Awarded as Best customer Relationship Manager in Dubai in 2018. He is honoured by 'Innovator of the Year’ award in 2022.
A seasoned professional with MBA in marketing, Dinesh Kumar has over 26 years of diversified experience. He joined Shriram Group in 2001 before continuing his career in Shriram Automall in 2011. At present, he is the Business Head and is responsible for the retail business of Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Lucknow zones. He has been honoured with 'Best Profitable Region’ award in 2014 and 'Most Promising Region’ award in 2017. His areas of Interest are to build good network & healthy relationship with customers while understanding their requirements.
With over 33 years of group experience, G Sunil Kumar has been associated with Shriram Transport Finance Company & later joined Shriram Automall in 2011. He is responsible for retail business of Chennai, Hyderabad and Bangalore zones. His innovations of strong business acumen & potential brought in business growth in Retail segment. His area of interest is to learn more and more about the new technology in automobile industry. He has been honoured with 'Employee of the Year’ award in 2020 and 'Innovator of the Year’ award in 2023 at SAMIL.
Rahul Bhardwaj is a senior entrepreneurial executive with over 23 years of experience in managing automotive sales, marketing, and network at the district, regional, and corporate level in the automotive industry. He is a postgraduate in Marketing and was associated with leading automobile groups like Ford India, TATA Motors, Hindustan Motors, Sonalika Group before joining Shriram Automall in 2014. He is the recipient of the SAMIL Innovator of the Year Award (2024–25). He is responsible for Channel Sales Management, Direct Sales, Dealer Network Expansion, Rationalization & Consolidation, Customer Satisfaction, Corporate Sales, Fleet Sales, Sales Training, and Dealer Business Management. He takes care of pre- owned vehicle business through Automotive (OEM) dealerships, car rental, leasing companies, and manages relationships with OEMs. He is results-oriented with an excellent track record in identifying opportunities for accelerated growth. He has a varied experience of over 31 years in both Asset Financing and CE Auctioning & Valuation businesses. He is veteran in Used Construction Equipment Industry and was instrumental in successfully establishing CE Auction business in Indian market way back in 2005 for his earlier employer and was also responsible for conducting overseas Auctions in SE Asia and Africa. He was also credited for starting the Used Construction Equipment Trading business for the group in Middle East and other markets. To get the understanding and exposure of Used Equipment and Machinery business in International markets he has extensively travelled to various countries like UAE, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, South Africa, Russia, Sri Lanka etc. Prior to joining with us, his last assignment was with Quippo Valuers & Auctioneer as COO. He won 'Employee of the Year’ award in 2024.
Ms. Reema P. Desai is the Company Secretary of Shriram Automall India Limited. She holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Mumbai and is an associate member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Additionally, she has a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Mumbai. With an overall experience spanning two decades, Ms. Desai has amassed over 13 years of diversified experience with Shriram Finance Limited (formerly Shriram Transport Finance Company Limited) in the fields of Corporate Secretarial and General and Commercial Laws. Throughout her career, she has adeptly handled Corporate Governance matters, complex Secretarial and Legal Transactions, Mergers and Acquisitions, and advised shareholders with a focus on compliance and integrity. She served as the Company Secretary of Shriram Equipment Finance Company Limited for over four years, before joining Shriram Automall India Limited as the Company Secretary.
